The project’s Kick Off meeting will be held online, due to the Covid-19 situation, on Wednesday 1st of July.
The project, officially started on 2nd March 2020, aims at promoting, valorizing and protecting cultural heritage in the Adriatic-Ionian area and focuses on the development of virtual collections as an important contribution to the preservation of cultural heritage in a sustainable and modern way.
Financed by INTERREG ADRION PROGRAMM 2014/2020, Adrinetbook will last 30 months and will receive funding for EUR 1,521,760.02.
The lead partner is the Municipality of Macerata (IT), whereas the other PPs are: the Central Institute for the Union Catalogue of Italian Libraries (IT), the Municipality of Gjirokastra (AL), the Museum of Contemporary Art Zagreb (HR), the Zadar County Rural Development Agency (HR), the National Library of Serbia (RS), the Municipality of Thassos (EL) and the Research and educational centre Mansion Rakičan (SI). The Marche Region (IT) joins the project as Associated Partner.
After the opening from Lead Partner and the partners presentation, the Joint Secretariat of the Interreg ADRION Programme will present administrative and project management rules.
Later in the afternoon, the first Steering Committee will take place and it will be the occasion to discuss the Work Packages and the related activities, objectives and deadlines, as well as the financial aspects of the project.
